The consultation itself: Here, together with the children, we examine the sick cuddly animal – together with the children, we can take X-rays, cast, treat larger wounds in the operating room and even re-implant missing eyes. More information can be found under Office hours.


The supporting program: Around the office there is a varied supporting program. Along the way, the children learn how their bodies are structured, why healthy eating is so important, how to brush your teeth properly and much more.

In our experience, children of preschool age take most of the consultation hours and the supporting programme, so we recommend that children between the ages of 4 and 8 take part.

There is no precise answer to this question. For fluffy patients we estimate about 15 minutes per child, but even with us, as in a large hospital, surgeries and difficult treatments can take more time.

We also expect 10 – 20 minutes per station of the supporting programme, so a visit to us can last at least 2 hours, which tends to be longer. Toilet breaks, picnic breaks and waiting times at individual stations make your stay longer.

In order to be able to keep to the schedule as much as possible, we kindly ask you to come to us at the registration desk about 15 minutes before your appointment.

It would be nice if every child has their cuddly toy with them and has already invented a disease for their pet. If you forget a cuddly toy, it's not a broken leg. We always have a few fluffy patients to lend, waiting to be examined by a child with us. However, they remain with us in the hospital after the consultation for further recovery.

We don't want anyone to be lost! But to be prepared for anything, we ask that all children carry something with the name and mobile number of a contact person on it.
